ESA Technical Services LLC is a Dubai-based technical services company, established in 2006, specialising in GRP works, waterproofing, insulation and installation across the UAE.
We are the team contractors call when the scope is specialist and the result has to be tested: GRP pipes and tanks, lamination, waterproofing systems, thermal insulation and GRP installation. Our clients are main contractors, construction companies, facility management firms, property owners and industrial operators across all seven Emirates.
What sets a specialist apart is not the product. It's knowing which system suits which substrate, exposure and budget, and applying it correctly in 45°C heat. That judgement is what we've been building since 2006.

Our story
Built on the UAE's toughest jobs
ESA Technical Services was founded in Dubai in 2006, during one of the fastest building booms the world has seen. Towers, villas, warehouses and utilities were going up at pace. So were the leaks, corroded steel lines and failed roof systems that come from building fast in an extreme climate.
We started with the work that needed specialist hands: GRP lamination and repair of pipes and tanks. Contractors kept asking for more. Waterproofing followed naturally, since the same problem, water in the wrong place, sits behind both. Insulation followed too, because in the Gulf a roof that keeps water out should also keep heat out.
Today we deliver 28 services in six categories. The principle hasn't changed: find the root cause, specify the right system, apply it properly and prove it with a test.

Our expertise
Deep capability in GRP and waterproofing
GRP (glass reinforced plastic, also called FRP or fibreglass) is a composite of glass-fibre reinforcement bonded in a thermosetting resin. It is light, strong and does not rust, which makes it ideal for water and chemical service in the Gulf. Getting the full benefit depends on resin choice, laminate design and workmanship. That is our core skill.
Laminate design and resin selection
We match resin to service conditions: isophthalic polyester for general water service, vinyl ester for aggressive or chemical exposure, and potable-water-grade systems for drinking water. We build up chopped strand mat and woven roving layers to the required thickness.
Pipes, joints and tanks
We install and join GRP pipelines, laminate butt-and-wrap joints, rectify leaks on live networks, and repair sectional and moulded GRP tanks, including internal re-lamination and bracing.
Waterproofing systems
We apply bituminous membranes, bitumen coatings, cementitious and crystalline systems, liquid polyurethane, acrylic coatings and combo roof builds. Each is chosen for its substrate, exposure and traffic.
Thermal insulation
We install spray PU foam, roof insulation, container insulation and insulated steel pipes jacketed in GRP. Each is designed to cut heat gain and control condensation.

Quality & safety
Our commitment to quality and safety
Every ESA project follows a simple QA/QC and HSE framework, scaled to the job:
- Method statement and risk assessment before mobilisation, aligned with the main contractor's HSE plan.
- Material traceability: batch numbers, data sheets and storage out of direct sun, because resins and membranes are temperature-sensitive.
- Surface preparation checks (moisture, soundness, profile) before any system goes down.
- In-process checks: laminate thickness, cure (Barcol hardness where specified), membrane overlaps, wet-film and dry-film thickness.
- Final testing: hydrostatic tests for pipes, fill tests for tanks, flood tests for roofs and wet areas, holiday (spark) tests for linings where specified.
- Handover pack: test records, photos, as-built notes.
